The Data Challenge allowed the teams to demonstrate their knowledge and skills learned during the 4-week Bootcamp on a real-world dataset. Learners worked together as a team of data scientists utilising open-source data from data.sa.gov.au/data/datasets/crime-statistics to explore insights on crime statistics in South Australia collected by the South Australian Police (SAPOL). The videos showcase the presentations of two teams who won by popular vote, interpreting insights that could help inform the public, SAPOL or local government areas to be a safer place.
